Afrojack @ WMC 2010, Beatport Beach Party 3.28.10

Undoubtedly one of the best sets of the Winter Music Conference. I’m gonna have to go next year. Those of you who’ve grown to love Afrojack will be amazed by this set. Only problem with it is there is five minutes around the middle where the people from the radio show broadcasting the set talk over “Let’s Make Nasty” one of my favorite Afrojack tracks from 2009. But beyond that it’s flawless. Still working on a set list, and I’ll edit the post if I find it. Afrojack ends with his “Watcha Say” remix, except there’s something different about this version and it backs up what I’ve heard a few times around the internet in recent weeks. Afrojack starts the song with a clear sample of Imogen Heap’s “Hide and Seek”, and not the part that Jason Derulo samples for his song, suggesting Afrojack will not release this unbelievable track as “Jason Derulo – Watcha Say (Afrojack Remix)”. What I’ve heard he plans to do is release the song as “Imogen Heap – Hide and Seek (Afrojack Remix). This video confirms it. Regardless, here’s the set:
