Sebastian Ingrosso 11.13.10 Pacha NYC: Review

Pacha was in top form on Saturday night in anticipation of one of Sebastian Ingrosso’s consistently superb sets. The energy was palpable and electric . Never before had I seen the place so packed and ready to party. Even the secluded, safe, and oh-so-cozy VIP area saw people wrangling with each other just to get a glimpse of Swedish House Mafia’s most charismatic member. And charismatic he was, making quick use of the air horn in tandem with his opener, “Miami 2 Ibiza”. The rest, as they say, is history. The capacity crowd rocked out all night in what Ingrosso called “his best gig here by far”.

    How can you call this a review? It are 5 lines of text that don’t really describe anything of his set (except the opening) accompanied by a lot of pictures..

    Definition of “Review” according to Merriam Webster:
    1) a looking at or looking over again
    2) a general survey, report, or account
    3) a looking back on; retrospective view or survey, as of past events or experiences

    Looking at Enes’ post we see that it covers all three definitions. We can also see that the term “review” does not have a minimum length requirement.

    More importantly due to his excellent photography skills we get to see Ingrosso up close and personal, and we get to see all the women Enes’ came in contact with.

    I guess you have never heard of the concept of PHOTOJOURNALISM.

    Here is my review:

    Ingrosso played a lot of WOM WOM WOMS, while a bunch of sweaty kids on ecstasy smelt overwhelmingly of body odor. A European woman asked me if I was famous, but her heavy accent made me think she was asking if I had any fruit roll ups, to which I replied with “Yes” as I always tend to carry a fruit roll up or two with me wherever I go. When I pulled out the cherry fruit roll up she scoffed at me and walked away. She had an incredible ass though I guess they do a lot of squats in Eastern Europe. After leaving the VIP area I ran into a lot of bug eyed Asian kids sucking on pacifiers, I tried to get around them to get closer to the stage but one of them looked like he was about to go super saiyan on me so I quickly left and made my way outside where I bummed a cigarette from shirtless hipster with a bad tattoo of Betty Boop on his arm. I then pissed in an alleyway, ate a hot pocket, and went home.
