Anyone else watch the American Music Awards last night? Usher’s performance of “DJ’s Got Us Falling In Love” was apparently written with Swedish House Mafia in mind. The trio of Swedes DJ’d Ushers set and were able to throw in brief snippets of “Miami 2 Ibiza” and “One.” Blogs and YouTube clips are already overrun with comments calling SHM “sellouts”.

This is now the second time this year EDM has infiltrated mainstream awards ceremonies (the first being Deadmau5 at the VMA’s). How does everyone feel about Swedish House Mafia sharing a stage with the likes of Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber? I have pretty mixed feelings…
