Next week is Miami Music Week!

Get excited for Miami Music Week my fellow Astronauts! Every day of this week we will be publishing a preview of the events of Miami Music Week (March 22nd – March 27th). This is without question the greatest week for electronic dance music fans of the entire year… especially if you’re single! Not only is there the Ultra Music Festival, arguably the best electronic music festival in the world, but the entire week is full of some of the year’s biggest parties. Imagine that all your favorite DJs in the world were in one place… and that place is Miami.

Come prepared

We hope you’ve prepared your wallets because it isn’t cheap to see talent like this multiple times a day for 6 straight days. There are lot of decisions to be made when you’re in Miami. You’ll have to pick between 4 of your favorite DJs who are all playing at a different fantastic venue at the same time. You’ll have to weigh many factors like price, venue, and timing (you’ll have several opportunities to see your favorite DJ perform). Also, you’ll probably have to start making those decisions a week in advance, and that’s why we’re making our Guide to Miami Week for you. You’ll want to buy your tickets soon because prices are already going up and events are already selling out. Hopefully we can help you make the right choices, and don’t stress because you really can’t go wrong. We apologize if reading these posts at work or school causes you to daydream about Miami and go on music downloading binges instead of working.

Why should you go?

It’s the first big day party that kicks off Miami Music Week. Not to mention that Nikki Beach is one the most legendary venues within Miami and is known for hosting amazing parties. There will be 3 stages and 17 plus hours of music. Big names such as TV Rock, Tristan Garner, Gregori Klosman, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will all be present. There is enough music to fill anyone’s heart with joy! Oh yeah..the women are supposed to be BEAUTIFUL as well! (See below – how about that for a picture Usman?!)

1st Featured Night Event: Steve Angello Size Matters Party @ LIV

Time: 11 PM – 5 AM

Steve Angello, Tinie Tempah, Junior Sanchez, AN21, Matteo Dimarr and Third Party.

Why Should You Go?

The headliner is one of the biggest names in the business. His younger brother (AN21) is an up and coming stud and is sure to tear down the roof. The party is also held at one of the most prestigious venues (LIV nightclub) in the world. The cool part about the lineup is that it offers a great variance of house music. You get a dose of progressive, electro, and big room. Steve Angello definitely knows how to throw a party! LIV is pricey so prepare to spend more money for events there. Unless you’re not concerned with money, you might want to choose your nights to go to LIV wisely. It’s a fantastic club however and it’s worth the ticket! They certainly have done a fantastic job making a place so large the classy venue that it is.

2nd Featured Night Event: Benny Benassi @ Mansion Miami

Why Should You Go?

Well…Duh! Look at the Lineup! Every name is a Dancing Astronaut favorite. I have seen every single one of these artists live and they are unreal. 7 hours of pure ecstasy with 4 huge names? Sign me up..puh-lease! Insider’s tip: It really pays to go VIP at Mansion. The VIP section is prime viewing location and you definitely have the best seats in the house.
