Plus One, A.K.A. Niall Ferguson, is a Hip Hop Dj from Scotland who won the DMC world title in 2001. Beni G, A.K.A. Ben Geffin, is half of Mixologists, a battling Dj group. Together they form Jack Beats, the Dubstep, Electro, Fidget House and Hip Hop influenced DJ tandem. They’ve released impressive original productions such as Get Down, UFO, and Out Of Body and released a number of successful remixes. I had the pleasure of seeing them at HARD Haunted Mansion and Together As One, both in Los Angeles. The style of their sets is comparable to a Skrillex show in the sense of mixing genres. Jack Beats will be releasing Up All Night EP April 18th on Cheap Thrills which will include Elevator Music and two versions of Up All Night (the original and a remix from Dubstep producer Skream).

Jack Beats will be in the San Francisco Bay Area this weekend along with dubstep artist, Zeds Dead. They will be playing one show in Santa Cruz on Wednesday, April 13th, and another in San Francisco on Thursday, April 14th. We should have some members of the DA crew at each of the two shows.
