Lune – Girls With Bangs (Tiësto Remix)

www.natxymusic.kit.net

This brand new vocal release is for all you tranceheads out there who remember Tiësto for his iconic melodies a la “Adagio For Strings” and “Elements of Life.” Hot off yesterday’s release of Club Life, Volume One: Las Vegas, “Girls With Bangs” presents a very sensual amalgamation of uplifting trance layering and breathy vocals that, when put to a massive sound system, will have the members of your audience closing their eyes to become fully enraptured in this aural experience. If you’re an audiophile, listen with headphones for the subtle nuances – an uncharacteristic dirty bass line, the fleeting flute solos, and of course the main synth melody that creeps its way in around the 2:40 mark.

While many accuse Tiësto of “selling out” to mainstream, songs like this should remind detractors of what got DJ Tiësto to the top in the first place: his unfettered ability to create and infuse songs with evocative melodies.

    Sooooo good.

Wow this melody is soooooooo lovely and emotional. Tiesto still has it.

  • dejavoodoo

Not bad. Surprisingly there some quality tunes on Tiesto’s new comp.

How can you forget his biggest track EVER!! SILENCE (Tiesto’s Search of Sunrise Remix)!!!!!

  • JT

Hahaha I was listing his classic originals, but you’re 100% right. Delerium put out an amazing track and Tiesto improved upon it in a very special way. I’m getting nostalgic just talking about it *sniff*

I also have to throw in Tiesto’s remix (and my personal favorite) of Balaeric Bill’s “Destination Sunshine”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhVRwuYbjcM#t=3m50s

Clicking the link above will take you directly to the build at the 3:50 mark. I’ve yet to hear a more invigorating musical climb than this.

Def one of the better Tiesto tracks. Almost lost confidence in him.

  • Tommy Mac

He played this Monday night at his show in Boston and it was perfect. Lasers, lights, and Tiesto going back to his roots with this track. That’s how it’s supposed to be.

Try and criticize this, Erica Grayson

  • JT

    Aw shucks, I’m blushing…

  • DArocks

This track is bomb and it’s tough to criticize JT. His/her writing and track selections are always on point. Keep it up!! Erica Grayson has nothing on you!

  • Erica Grayson

Hahaha I hate to admit it but you’re right :P this is a sexy song and the post is very well written. Nothing is more attractive than a man with good musical taste and a way with words.

Don’t worry Bijan, there is room for you too ;)

  • JT

Thank you, but Bijan is all yours Erica.

  • JT

You have me jealous! I now regret not seeing him in Vegas last week.

  • JT

I’m not sure “it” ever left him. Artists will eventually get bored of creating the same style of music and will want to experiment. My guess is Tiësto dove into pop remixes until he started missing the music he created when he first entered the scene.

Hey JT, i know it is normally Senthil who posts about Angger Dimas’s Tunes most recently his remix of Kaskades All you, but Just wanted to know what you guys at dancing astronaut think of the track on Clublife volume one: Las Vegas called “We Rock” by Boys Will Be Boys which is apparently Angger Dimas and Tiesto Collaboration.
