Calvin Harris Ft. Kelis – Bounce (R3hab Remix)

r3hab-rehab-the-bottle-song

R3hab has been on an absolute tear remixing tracks like “Give Me Everything”, “Judas”, “Fight Club is Closed”, and “Til Death”. Not to mention, he came out with the banger that is “The Bottle Song.” Here he is putting his spin on Calvin Harris & Kelis’ “Bounce”. He starts off with Calvin’s same intro, but proceeds to change from the playful “bouncy” sound to something a little heavier and way more dutch. Kind of surprised he chose not to include Kelis’ vocals, but we enjoy the song nonetheless.

R3hab has done what again?  Oh yea copy and pasted his file sessions over into another song.

If your implying that his tracks sound the same, your right, but that’s cos its HIS style! Avicii does quite the same, when you listen to an Avicii track you can distinctively tell it’s him. This is what makes artists special, and I count R3hab as one of those!

I have to admit, this is not my favorite of the bunch.  Females will favour the Sandro Silva mix which I feel is much more catchy and dance worthy than this.  R3hab’s stuff is good, but getting a little bit old for me and I’m looking for some variety in his music if he wants to last.  Eventually one of these will hit the pop and college scene, but it hasn’t happened to the likes of avicii and afrojack.  Now you want a real remix of this song? The Michael Woods is unparalleled.  It’s simply amazing, fresh, original, and hypnotizing.

It’s really not his style at all.  He simply jumped on the dirty dutch bandwagon and put out one or two good songs that I actually really enjoy, and then just thought he could use the same sounds and formula for every new song, a formula which most producers could remake in about a day. Avicii is considerably more talented and while he has a sound puts a fair amount of originality and thought into each of his songs.
