Axwell releases new video for “Save The World”

This is the third video for SHM’s “Save The World,” and it’s by far our favorite. Don’t get us wrong – we like heroic dogs and EDC concert footage just as much as the next fans (in fact, we were in the crowd while the EDC video was shot). But there’s something much more original about this concept, released by Axwell in conjunction with Carlsberg beer. The video features super slow-motion footage of a beautiful girl getting ready for a night out, then pregaming with her friends, then dancing her face off at an Axwell show in Stockholm, Sweden. With stuff like this, it’s really no surprise that SHM sold out their Madison Square Garden show in 9 minutes.

  • where’s the beef?

visually stimulating? yes. However, hot girls moving in slow motion for 3 minutes does not a music video make. A story line with enough substance to complement this song could open SHM up to an entirely new audience who might not typically be as receptive.

A story is always nice but this works just for the effects. eye candy
