You could have made a formidable case for Alex Kenji to have been in the DJ Mag Top 100, his work on “Pressure” often times goes forgotten. That being said, the guy has been on an absolute tear recently with his remix of “Outro” and his own productions of “Nine Apples” and “Make Me Feel.” Kenji has been considerably more disco-oriented with his last few releases, and “Feel It” epitomizes the blend between disco and tech house. The 80’s vibe is back in full swing, artists such as Avicii have been sampling vocals from that decade in particular throughout 2011. Alex has such a wide variety of talents that you should see his name popping up all over the place no matter what the genre is.
