Alesso – Raise Your Head
You’ve heard it live. You’ve drooled over the Soundcloud preview (numerous times a day, if you’re anything like us). Now, it’s finally here: the undisputably amazing “Raise Your Head” by Alesso. This is, quite simply, an anthem. Alesso’s masterful production is at once jarring and hypnotic, with a rock-inspired drum line and some spooky synths. Its darker edge makes “Raise Your Head” the perfect counterpart to “Calling” and an exciting taste of what is sure to be an even more incredible 2012 for Alesso.

Too monotonous for deserving a anthem status imo…
an anthem in my opinion should be something with some “soul” that brings out emotions and people can’t help but connect with. This is nothing more than big room party noise. very good big room party noise but not a track with any qualities to make it a lasting “anthem.”

Could definitely use a prog overhaul, imo.
I think its a bit too early to call it an anthem, because an anthem consists of quality and the hype it causes. Its a banger without a doubt, nonetheless.
