Dancing Astronaut’s Top 10 Tracks of November

Want an easy way to make sure you are up to date on all the latest, best music? Dancing Astronaut takes a look at the top 10 tracks of November based on a combination of reader feedback, track quality, editorial preference & critical reception.

November’s top 10 sees some new faces on our list with Steve Aoki, Cazzette & Chris Lake all making debut appearances. Click after the break to see which tracks we thought deserved to be included in the top 10 as well as who snagged the November #1.

10. Gregori Klosman – Kameha (Original Mix)
The warping sounds from the beginning of the track coupled with the addictive synths, drop into an anthemic tune that no DJ in their right mind will fail to play.

9. David Guetta ft. Sia – Titanium (Alesso Remix)
It seems as though just about everyone has tried their hand at remixing “Titanium,” but from all accounts, Alesso’s effort is by far the best.

8. Chris Lake – Sundown (Original Mix)
Pete Tong named this his essential new tune back in September and we have been looking forward to its release ever since.

7. Lana Del Rey – Video Games (Cazzette Remix)
As readers of our site will know, we’re huge fans of Cazzette and expect them to continue their momentum into 2012. After a year when they pretty much came from nowhere to opening for Avicii & releasing an official SHM remix, 2012 could be huge for the Swedish duo.

6. Chuckie – Who Is Ready To Jump
Straight power from start to finish, you better be ready to jump up and down when this is dropped in your next live set.

5. Afrojack – Lionheart (Original Mix)
Afrojack’s latest release of “Lionheart” is not just big, it’s COLOSSAL! Afrojack leads with futuristic bleeps into one of the filthiest, hardest, and epic drops we have ever heard from the Dutchman.

4. Tiesto & Steve Aoki – Tornado
Two of the biggest names in EDM join forces to bring us Tornado. The track meshes both of their styles together in a unique, very cool way. We’re big fans of this track.

3. Deadmau5 – Aural Psynapse (Original Mix)
After his incredible “4D” show in London the other day, Deadmau5 is nearing the heights of not only the EDM world, but the music world in general. With Aural Pynapse, he takes us back to the classic Deadmau5 sound.

2. Alesso – Raise Your Head
Another fantastic production from Alesso. “Raise Your Head” is darker than what we’ve come to expect from him yet equally enchanting.  Winner of our Rookie of the Year award, we’re excited to see what he has in store for us in the upcoming year.

1. Michael Calfan – Resurrection (Axwell’s Re-Cut Club Version)
This month’s number 1 goes to one of our all time favorite producers – Axwell. His rework of Michael Calfan’s “Resurrection” is simply put phenomenal. Currently number 1 on Beatport, the piano chords that resonate through the track take it to that next level.

With two entries on our top 10 list, the DJ/Producer of the Month goes to Alesso!
