Fresh off his remix of Ryan Kono’s “Someday,” Franz Novotny brings us an original track called “Crunch.” This style reminds us a lot of Tommy Trash – the build up is mainly progressive, however, the drop is as dirty as tetanus. “Crunch” will do exceptionally well in a club setting due to the heavy drums and fist pumping style. Australian based Vicious Recordings has been releasing some sneaky good tracks recently, keep on the lookout for this label in the near future.

BONUS: Franz Novotny – Crunch (Digital LAB Remix)

The most noticeable difference between Digital LAB’s rendition and the original mix is that the drop is much different. If the original mix sounded like Tommy Trash, then this remix sounds like a production from Hard Rock Sofa. The pulsing sound and slight distortions within the drop remind us of “True Emotion.”
