Michael Calfan has deservingly gained tremendous support over the past few months from some of the biggest EDM icons. It only makes sense that his name will quickly emerge onto the scene after Axwell remixed Calfan’s “Resurrection” into one of the most powerful piano tracks of the year. After Sidney Samson’s wild and energetic remix, the Paris based producer has caught the attention of David Guetta, who signed Calfan’s remix of “Turn Me On” to his own F*** Me I’m Famous label. Using simplistic yet extremely moving lead synths, Michael Calfan manages to utilize Nicky Minaj’s vocals in a much more compelling way than the original. So far, having Axwell and David Guetta on his roster is not too shabby for the upcoming producer. It will be exciting to see who gets a hold of Michael Calfan’s next noteworthy track. When we first saw David Guetta & Laidback Luke’s name together we were quite surprised yet very excited. Besides Laidback Luke’s drums, it’s not so easy to point out each one of their contributions on this rendition. Needless to say, at approximately 1:30, the drop to this remix is an absolute dance floor destroyer. There are a lot of heavy electro distortions, which are pretty surprising coming from both Guetta and Laidback Luke. Anyone think the drop sounds very similar to Nicky Romero’s “Tolouse?”

Sebastien Drums’s remix is by far the most uplifting, progressive, and anthemic of the bunch. With a motivational piano build up, Drums developed a moving and heavenly drop that is sure to put a smile on your face. After producing “Snus” with Avicii, there is no denying that Sebastien Drums has the ability to create a soul-stirring remix as good as this one.
