Steve Aoki’s first artist album (we know – how!?), Wonderland, is set to drop January 17. Its second single “Ladi Dadi” is getting us even more excited to hear it in full. With both this track and “Earthquakey People,” Aoki dropped the more club-ready “Part II” first, and we can’t say we mind. While we have yet to hear the original, “Ladi Dadi (Part II)” begins with a simple four-on-the-floor skeleton and builds to a heavy, screechy dubstep drop. “Dirty Talk” diva Wynter Gordon contributes the vocals here, and sounds far more soulful and mature than on her infamous track. It’s a combination that hints at the artistic range Wonderland may well offer; needless to say, we’re counting down to the 17th.
