“Sending My Love” dropped in August and, in the months since, we’ve been teased with remixes from Kaskade and Tommy Trash, with the promise of even more from Swanky Tunes and Cazzette. We feel like we’ve been waiting forever for these remixes to drop… and today, they’re finally here. This is one of the best remix packages in recent memory, and each offers a distinct take on what has come to be one of 2011’s classic tracks. Swanky Tunes & R3hab ft. Max C – Sending My Love (Kaskade Remix)

Kaskade is a perfect DJ to remix “Sending My Love.” He toned down the electro elements and amped up the drama with a huge piano build-up, turning the track a classic big-room house banger. It’s eurphoric, detailed, and quintessential Kaskade. We’ve been looking forward to hearing the full version of this remix since he dropped it in his Essential Mix earlier this fall.

Swanky Tunes & R3hab ft. Max C – Sending My Love (Hard Rock Sofa Remix)

Where there’s Swanky Tunes, there’s usually Hard Rock Sofa. Frequent collaborators with both Swanky Tunes and R3hab, Hard Rock Sofa was another easy choice for remix duties on “Sending My Love.” The Russian DJs create a unique, snake charmer-esque synth line, with the build-up giving way to an amped-up take on the track’s now-iconic drop. This one is instrumental but we don’t think it needs the vocals; it has energy to spare.

Swanky Tunes & R3hab ft. Max C – Sending My Love (Afrojack Remix)

Since “Sending My Love” dropped on Afrojack’s Wall Records, it’s only natural that he’d contribute to the track’s remix release. He throws the vocals on top of Swanky Tunes’ sexy synth line, with the build-up giving way to the original version’s beat. We guess that’s why this one’s called an “Edit” rather than a “Remix;” Afrojack really did minimal work here.

Swanky Tunes & R3hab ft. Max C – Sending My Love (Tommy Trash Remix)

Sometimes small details can make a big difference, and that’s certainly the case with Tommy Trash’s “Sending My Love” remix. The addition of a quick three-note electro line, repeated through the track, transforms it and provides a driving sound that the others lack. We’ve copped to having a DJ crush on Tommy Trash but, with tracks like this, our love is totally warranted.

Swanky Tunes & R3hab ft. Max C – Sending My Love (Cazzette’s Already Super Human Remix)

With another quirkily-named remix (ever notice the initials are always A.S.H.?), Cazzette add a touch of wobble and fantastic video game-like sounds to “Sending My Love.” Pretty much the only elements of the original left intact here are the vocals and piano notes, and we love it. The slowed-down breakdown section is not to be missed.
