“Anima” has been featured in An21 and Max Vangeli’s essential mix and Thomas Gold’s Escape From Wonderland set (two of the best sets this year). Tim Mason has an uncanny ability to end the year with a bang. Last year everyone caught a whiff of “The Moment” when Steve Angello premiered it in his Roseland Ballroom show, and this year he releases “Anima” a day before NYE. Needless to say, ringing in the new year just got a bit more fun.

    You’re exactly right. I’m not one to disagree all that often, but anthem status?
    Unless I am missing something or my speakers and headphones have stopped working to full potential in the last couple of hours this song isn’t that fantastic.

    I kind of agree after first listen, but if you go to the 3:00 minute mark you could see how this could be pretty epic on a good sound system

    I’m on my second listen, and it’s still quite meh. I mean, yeah it’s a pretty damn good song, but nothing stands out enough. Wouldn’t call this an anthem.
