    Hey there Dancing Astronauts,
The reason why I love the Size Matter crew is because they never fail to bring on the energy and entertain the whole crowd. I’ve seen them once, ended up front row with my best friend and it was unbelievable how each set the artists destroyed it. 3 hours of just Steve Angello was unbelievable, definitely a life changing experience. Thomas Gold was crazy too who I’ve seen twice now. But the Size Matter event was my favorite show that I’ve went to before I stepped in the front row of MSG for Swedish house mafia where it was ridiculous and a dream come true. Hopefully this answers the questions and I’ve been liked the Facebook page for a while and have had pictures taken from your camera crew at MSG and also Pacha NYC. Thanks for all the years worth of posts and updates on EDM. 2011 was magnificent, can’t wait to see what 2012 will bring.

I love the Size Matter’s crew because they always throw it down with super intricate sets. The Size Matters stage at Escape from Wonderland was amazing and I wish i could have all of their full sets. Seen Steve 3 times and every time was never a disappointment. Thomas Golds set at Escape was nothing short of epic and was throwing down mashups for days. Still listen to it at least once a week. I would love the chance to see them again and not miss a moment of their sets.

i love size matters because Rave N’ Roll by Steve Angello was the song that got me into the whole EDM scene. Now 2 years later, I’ve invested into my own decks and aspire to be a professional DJ. His recent set at Escape from Wonderland has been easily my top 5 favorite sets. I have yet to see Steve Angello although i have seen a few others on Size Matters such as Alesso and AN21 & Max Vangeli. It would really be awesome if i had the opportunity to see him in person

I love size matters Because they have been putting out some of the best dance music these past years!! I would go nuts to be at this show!!

  • Parker

SIze Matter is an epic label due to the great blend of different types of house music that all of the artists produce.

  • Omid

I love the size matters crew because they throw it down how its meant to be thrown down.

  • Chrschavez8

I love the Size Matters crew because hands down as a team they bring together all the great elements of house music. Steve Angello brings the epic SHM feel to any of his sets, both AN21 & Max Vangelli bring in the uptempo 128 bmp house feel to any stage they’re rocking from first play to last. Wether its from heavy bass to melodic vocals they combine it all in their sets along, the Size Matters team knows how to f#%@k any venue in the p***y and bring the PARTY. Seen all but Thomas Gold but after hearing his set from Escape its a must to hear through one of his sets LIVE and what better way to do it but by doing so on the first day of the year!

I wanna go to this for a lot of reasons. Dada Life, Kaskade, Steve Angello. The size DOES matter and they know how to fuckin party! i know how to party so pick me.

What’s there not to like about the Size crew? I think it’s amazing what this record label has done. It not only releases the best in progressive house, but also bangers in other genres such as tech house, house, electro, and techno. And whats even more amazing is how well the tracks compliment each other. I could play a whole set only using Size tracks and it would be amazing. I’ve discovered a lot of artist that I’ve come to enjoy because of their releases on the label. Koen Groeneveld’s “Slides” EP was a breath of fresh air from the rest of the genre. Nari and Milani’s “Kendo” has that pounding retro saw synth that reminds you of older EDM tracks with those epic progressive chords stabs that keep it modern. And that intro, oh my god, how could you not love it. And then there’s Third Party. There track “Release” and its use of panning on the vocals? How can you listen to that and not understand that it shouldn’t be played anywhere but an arena? Now, I know these aren’t the artist in question, but this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to explaining what comes to mind when I think of Size Records. What can I say, Size matters to me.

As for the artist actually headlining the event. Steve Angello’s live performances are great. His tracks are amazing too. He’s influenced the direction of EDM music a lot with his own unique style, amazing track compositions, his excellent production technique’s, and, as stated before, his label. KNAS showed us all that we don’t always have to stay in key, or put a note every 8th or 16th note. He showed us that its ok to say fuck it. And his live sets? Ya, they’re amazing. What about Max Vangeli and AN21? Their productions and remixes are always top notch and can’t imagine their live performance would be anything less. And Thomas Gold? Well, need I say more?

C’mon Dancing Astronaut! Pick me and lets enjoy this night together! I’m tired of having to hang out with people who are just their to get fucked up or laid, I want to enjoy the music with people who enjoy music.

I love the Size Matter crew because of all the epicness they bring to the table! Steve Angello is someone with a vision and ever since he joined SHM, he was partly responsible for bringing EDM, well house, progressive house, and sometimes even electro-house to a level where you can’t describe in words.  I listened to many of AN21 & Max Vangeli’s tracks and I had this gut feeling that some day they would be on the rise on top.  Sure, their remix of Pendulum’s, ‘The Island’ is great, but how about their own track with Example, ‘Whisper’?!    That track is just amazing!  I’m just waiting till they release their album, cause I know they’re going to explode when all those tracks are listened to.  Thomas Gold, well Thomas Gold, I cannot say how many times I repeated on my iPod, the remixes that he did for numerous artists.  This guy is seriously underrated.  After hearing his Escape from Wonderland set, I was just one word, speechless.  What he did with Adele’s, ‘Someone Like You,’ making it big room sounding, and ‘Set Fire to the Rain’, just awesome how he makes it emotional and as it progresses, you can’t help but just jump, and his take on Sander van Doorn’s, ‘Reach Out?’ I don’t know how else to make you more excited when hearing that remix.  I can go on and on about all these artists because of how much I admire their creativity and approach into their music, and I have never seen any of them live.  White Wonderland would seriously be the perfect opportunity!

The size matters crew offers a lot of variety. What is not to love about these guys. Steve Angello’s epicness, Max Vangeli’s and AN21′s essential mix(EPIC), and Thomas Gold’s epic  availabilty to do some outstanding remixes… Enough Said.

Why should I be chosen to to be a part of this epic new years day… well here it goes! I’ve attended many parties since my first EDM experience at EDC 2008 and fallen in love with everything electronic music has to offer. There is no better feeling than being in the middle of a packed venue raging face with a group of friends and peers alike. Getting goose bumps as the beat to your favorite songs build up and losing control once they drop. For all the events that I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of I have never seen any one from New Years day’s Size Matters lineup. Add to that I was supposed to work both nights of this event (shelling out water to happy ravers) until an unforeseen hiccup kept me from doing so, which is also the reason I didn’t purchase a two day pass. Hopefully my spiel wins you over either way keep up the good work you guys are killing it!

Size matters crew is a great group of artists that may not have the spotlight as other edm artists but definately have the talent to be there soon. this crew they have assembled together is a great way to fully show the different talents out there that havent made it to our local radio stations. Steven Angello is taking an independent stage for once (that i will see) and his brother on stage as well AN21! Max with them has UKs best track! these people are all together in one label founded by Angello and they are coming together to show us their power in EDM music and I would be honored to see it!

  • Cuhwris
