Given that Dirty South and Thomas Gold are my absolute favorite DJs/producers in progressive, I think my expectations were way too high for this track. I’m kind of dissapointed/unimpressed actually. It’s literally the same ‘Walking Alone-inspired’ melody the entire time. I mean it’s a great melody, very emotional like Dirty South was shooting for. I suppose it’s the lyrics that’s supposed to make the track so great. Looks like I need to let it settle with me, nice write-up.

It did remind me of “Walking Alone.” Does this song get bonus points for Kate Elsworth being unbelievably gorgeous?

Hahaha smokeshow of the week for sure! That should be a new feature. Yeah I don’t know what my bone is with that song, I just think they could’ve messed with the pitch of their main melody some more. I feel like it’s kinda the same emotional/borderline depressing energy the whole time ya know?
