Go behind the scenes with Skrillex and the Doors in the “Breakn’ a Sweat” music video
We were more than just a little upset when Skrillex collaborated with Korn for “Narcissistic Cannibal.” Thankfully, Sonny Moore completely redeemed himself when he teamed up with the Doors for the ground-breaking documentary “RE:GENERATION.”
The remaining Doors members; Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and Jon Densmore, join the young producer in the studio for this behind the scenes look at their collaboration “Breakn’ a Sweat.” Delicately mixing the old school Doors rock sound and Skrillex’s electronic mayhem, this track represents the first new Doors release in the 21st century. As someone who grew up on classic rock, it is refreshing to see such legendary musicians back in the studio for the first time in over 10 years.
Did anyone else notice the name of the hotel at the beginning of the video? Kyoto.

Hate on the Korn collaboration at your own risk, the records they made have been greatly successful at rock radio and if you listen carefully that’s where Skrillex is aiming a lot of his sounds these days, towards the rock end. He is a rock guy after all. That’s why a lot of people grounded in the DJ side of things can’t get their heads around him. Bangarang is now being serviced to Alt radio, see how far that goes.
Bro-step has a kindred spirit in metal, I guarantee you haven’t seen the last of the mixing of the 2.
BTW, where is the Bangarang Hotel?
Korn is not metal, it wasn’t metal 10 years ago, it’s not metal now. Real metal is In Flames, At The Gates, Shadows Fall, et cetera. Korn is nu-metal and nu-metal and rap/rock have always been crap and will continue to be crap whether or not there are dubstep wobbles behind it.Anyone who listens to that shit should be shot in the fucking face for having zero taste in music.
That’s mean.
Haha there’s always this guy on the internets.
