“Quasar” reached new heights after the Swedish House Mafia played it in their Madison Square Garden Show. This distortion filled track should lead this Russian gang into the forefront of house music (you may already think they are, but just watch the residencies that come their way after this release). Hard Rock Sofa has an uncanny ability to add a few sweeping and pulsing sounds to the bassline, making a huge difference in the overall effect of the songs. We’ve also got to put our hands together for Axwell’s Axtone Records. This imprint doesn’t release a ton of music, but when it does, you know the song is the real deal (think: “Resurrection” and “In My Mind“). Prepare yourself to hear “Quasar” numerous times from today till the end of the year.
