Latin house producer, Gregor Salto’s, remix of “If a Lie was Love” by Josie Cotton is dissimilar in style to many of his other tracks but not any less impressive. Salto effortlessly floats between tranquil bass lines and hard hitting drops. Meanwhile, Cotton’s sultry, delicate vocals are highlighted by squealing rhythms, sweeps, and synth cords. This is the kind of track that forces even the most passive listener to jump. For another energetic Salto song check out his collaboration with Chuckie, “What Happens in Vegas?” or if you’re in the mood for something more classically Salto try the tribal track, “Canoa.”
