Since it first aired more than a decade ago, A State of Trance has become one of the most popular radio shows in the world. We’re not sure exactly how many listeners ASOT attracts every week, but it’s in the tens of millions — making Armin one of the most influential people in the world, in our eyes.
Since 2004, Armin has mixed the best tracks from the year into an annual compilation, also called A State of Trance. If you’re a trance fan, the mix has become an institution, and this year’s edition looks as tantalizing as ever. The two-CD volume features work from heavyweights such as Paul van Dyk, John O’ Callaghan, Gareth Emery, Andy Moor and W&W.
