Alex Sayz ft. Nadia Ali – Free To Go (John de Sohn & Stefano Noferini Remixes)

Nadia Ali’s name has essentially become a guarantee of a good track. We first discovered “Free To Go” when Nima G and Jared F surprisingly dropped the Alex Lamb remix in one of their livesets. “Free to Go” is yet another reminder that Ali is perhaps the preeminent vocalist in dance music today, and each remix exploits her vocals to different effect. John de Sohn and Stefano Noferini put their spin on Alex Sayz’ single in Part 1 of the remix package. Read the details after the jump and get ready for Part 2!

This remix has some significant bounce — the thumping drums and scattered vocals add to the craziness. The fast pace reminds us of quite a few acid house tunes from the past, but that speed is calmed by the track’s obvious tech influences. Blending excitement with excessive suave, de Sohn sounds a little like the brilliant Deniz Koyu.

Stefano Noferini keeps things simple with his take on “Free To Go.” There are no crazy build ups or drops, nothing out of the ordinary. It’s almost as if he’s hypnotizing you into a state of trance that you’ve never experienced before. Dancing Astronaut can’t wait for all the tech house parties in Miami. We assure you that Stefano will tear up the decks at our stage in No Sugar Added. See you there.

Oldie, but a goodie. This might still be our favorite one thus far (until Part 2 is released of course!).
