EDC New York: ticket availability, lineup information (update: sold out!)

Item Image

When we first broke the news of an EDC in NYC it was nothing more than a rumor, a few days later our dreams became a reality when the dates were officially announced by Pacha NYC and Insomniac. It’s hard to believe that in 3 hours tickets will officially go on sale.  There is still no set line-up (although there have been some rumblings about Kaskade headlining one of the two days) but Pasquale Rotella was kind enough to tweet out ticket costs and they are surprisingly reasonable for an event that will prove to be the biggest thing to happen to the dance music scene in NYC since the Swedish House Mafia took over MSG.  This is going to be historic.

The Details:

May 19 – 20th at MetLife Stadium

$147 for a 2 day pass, $99 for a single day, $322 for a VIP 2 day pass, and $171 for a single day VIP.

Don’t fall victim to greedy scalpers and be sure you are ready at 3pm to grab your tickets, this one is destined to sell out.

UPDATE: Phase 1 Lineup: Afrojack, Alesso, An21 & Max Vangeli , Art Department, Avicii, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, Chuckie, Danny Tenaglia , Erick Morillo, Fatboy Slim, John Digweed, R3hab, Thomas Gold , Hot Natured (Jamie Jones & Lee Foss) and many more…

Note: Pacha has just pulled the lineup from their Facebook, but not before we got to it.

Update 2: MTV News confirms the leaked lineup.

UPDATE:

As of 3:24pm it appears that that EDC NY has sold out, as we can no longer access tickets on ticketmaster. Fastest festival sellout ever?

UPDATE 3: (3:36PM) Tickets are not sold out, it looks like Ticketmaster just pulled the tickets to raise the price. Two day tickets are now $171, supply and demand

Update 4: (6:02PM) According to Insomniac, tickets are officially sold out! CEO Pasquale Rotella adds, “I am amazed and humbled by the incredible response from our fans in New York!  Please stay tuned for ticket updates.” (Thanks, @stevecurtiis!)
