Coachella 2012 photos are now online
I spent 3 days in the desert heat lugging around camera gear to bring you back some shots from Coachella 2012. Do you know how hard it is to party with a backpack full of expensive photography equipment? It’s practically impossible. They only let non-Coachella photographers in the pit for 15 minutes before they kicked us all out, I couldnt get a shot of Holo-Pac.
I’m really happy to see a lot of pictures of non-EDM artists! I always think there’s way too much hate of other genres from most EDM fans, which is why I love seeing a festival where people can see so many different genres. Very cool to be able to see Frank Ocean, Swedish House Mafia, Bon Iver (although I assume you guys missed them, as there were no pics), etc all on the same weekend.
I thought the idea of going two weekends was stupid, but after missing so many awesome acts going both weekends actually seems reasonable. My greatest regret was missing The Shins
