David Guetta’s new label is called ‘Jackback Recordings,’ announces free online show tomorrow
David Guetta has just revealed the name of his new label on Twitter: Jackback Recordings. He first told us about his plans to start a new electronic imprint during his Ultra 2012 set, and we’ve known that his collaboration with Nicky Romero, “Metropolis,” would be the first release. Interestingly, he says that the first release won’t be dropping on Beatport until Wednesday, while the aforementioned track was previously set for release on Monday. We’ve reached out to Guetta’s camp for clarification on the matter, and it looks like the track has indeed been pushed back a few days. (Perhaps giving you a bit more time to enjoy the previous Jackback track, “Wild One Two.”)
Additionally, David will be streaming his show from the Palais Omnisport Paris Bercy tomorrow night on his Facebook channel. The one hour set kicks off at 11PM Paris time, which is 4PM on the East Coast and 1PM out West. It’s not the longest set in the world, but between 31 million Facebook fans and 4 million Twitter followers, it may be one of the largest to be streamed online.
