Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes – Apogee (Original Mix)

This is the first of a slew of releases coming from both of these groups. At Miami this year, I asked the Swanky Tunes why they were separate from Hard Rock Sofa when they are such good friends and release a large number of tracks together, their answer was, “There is too many of us.” It was a simple answer, for a handful of simple minded guys who love producing at the end of it all. “Apogee” (much like the producers of the track) is very raw in structure, featuring a few of their traditional steam gun sounds blended with a playful chorus. Expect this to be played by more than a few DJs in the near future, they did a great job with marketing this tune.
