Identity Festival announces 2012 lineup with Eric Prydz, Porter Robinson, Madeon, and more

IDENTITY

After a pretty successful tour last summer, we had a feeling that Identity Festival would be back, but what we didn’t expect was its announced headliner. Eric Prydz will officially be headlining the event when it kicks off on July 19th, and he will be joined by Wolfgang Gartner, Madeon, Porter Robinson, Arty, Noisia, Showtek, and “many more.” We’ll admit that the initial lineup isn’t the most impressive we’ve ever seen, but the fact that Eric Prydz AKA Pryda AKA Cirez D will be making his way to the United States for it is pretty damn incredible.

Tickets for the event are on sale right now, so head over to LiveNation for the details. Did we mention they’re only $25? We’re working on nailing down the finalized lineup but check out the dates and locations past the break.

I could give a flying fuck who else is there. Prydz is all that matters.

  2. Radical10 says:

“after a pretty successful tour last summer”–unfortunately that statement isnt all that true. it flopped in every market except for SF which is why they’re cutting over half of the cities this year

  3. KOMARI says:

    ^ #HOUSEMUSIC ……… HOLY FUCK PRYDA

  4. arty and madeon are a hot ticket too

  5. Jin says:

$25 seems too good to be true.  nevertheless,  i bought 2 tickets!

  6. I daught that you will see Prydz in US.. He is afraid of flying.

  7. fritz ritter says:

I think these headliners are amazing.

  8. EPIC says:

I can’t believe DA actually said they”weren’t that impressed” with the lineup, that is disgraceful – Eric Prydz hasn’t been to the United States in years and is one of the most talented DJs in the world (would have been the 4th member of SHM if not for his fear of flying), Arty, Porter Robinson and Madeon are the next generation of best DJs in the world – we are going to look back at this concert as one of the best lineups ever

  9. Jeffmiller says:

I was told by the Cincinnati promoter that Bingo Players will be at the Cincinnati show.

  10. 11cneil says:

I would pay $40 to see each of those artists by themselves, never mind eric prydz (i would pay $100 to see him), this initial lineup is dope. I would be happy paying $25 and those are the only artists that i get to see. I kind of wish that that was all there was; everyone plays a two hour set and there are no overlapping times.

  11. geoff says:

i would pay $50 to see Arty, Madeon, Porter, or Wolfgang on their own and a hell of alot more than that to see Prydz, never a guarantee he’s going to come around again. The fact that you can get all of the for $25 is absurd.

    Hats off to ID.

  12. Dan Shaw says:

this just made summer that much sweeter.

  13. 1234 says:

Prydz is enough to pay $150 in my mind.  The others mentioned above are great as well.  But don’t sleep on Noisa, I know its D&B, but they are sick. Not to mention, Paul Van Dyk is a LEGEND.

  14. they only cut 5 actually. and they were packed last year. incredible shows

  15. Chris Lang says:

I completely agree sir. I think this initial lineup is fantastic and already much better than last year’s. Eric Prydz is a living legend.

  16. sallie says:

this line up is incredibly more impressive than anyone could expect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! watch your mouth this is pryda youre talking about

  17. tvick says:

There’s definitely more dates than this from what I’ve seen on ticketmaster.

  18. DA Guys…got any info on the Jones Beach show? is Prydz gonna be there?

  19. Raffi Lemus says:

porter should be good.. so how come he makes me less excited ?

  20. Idioteque... says:

These goofballs said the EDC NY/NJ line up was good, for the price this is a terrific line up.

  21. Ed says:

    sorry
Jacob Schulman, you say that you’re not that impressed with this lineup. You must has a serious screw loose, and yes, it was worth saying again.

  22. JUPP says:

living in the uk literally sucks. Saw Pyrdz before, always wanted to see him again

  23. slaap says:

Eric Prydz set at Wavefront in Chicago 2 weeks ago was amazing. Can’t wait to see him again. DA, if this line up doesn’t impress you, I don’t know what would. 2 legends (Eric Prydz and PVD), a dj who plays a great set everytime (Wolfgang), 3 amazing up n comers, and 3 of the best dubstep has to offer. And its only an initial line up. I think DA is just spoiled.
