Moguai previews his crushed mix of ‘Lyme,’ offers up free bootleg
Moguai ‘crushes’ one of his own as he remixes “Lyme,” one of the more impressive efforts off his electro-house LP, Mpire. The original’s build up is strictly chord progression in its most electro form, a style derived from Deadmau5 territory. Soon enough, clean-cut baseline enters the track, accompanying the entrance of energetic synths to create a brisk melody. The remix doesn’t stray too far from the oringal’s blueprint, keeping the build almost identical and turning up the heat on the synths, generating a dub-heavy synth where the electro presence previously dominated.
