Axwell’s new track premieres in new 3D animated video from Carlsberg
Carlsberg is getting in on the EDM marketing craze and has teamed up with a bunch of big DJs for its “Where’s The Party?” campaign. One of the names involved is none other than Axwell, who “stars” in a new minute-long trailer for the company. We say “stars” because it’s not actually Ax himself, but rather a 3D avatar zooming around an animated city and DJing an animated show. (Don’t worry, it’s cooler than it sounds.)
The most notable part of the video is that it’s set to a brand new track from Axwell we haven’t heard before. The song is hardcore electro, and sounds like something we’d hear from a Zedd or Porter Robinson type rather than from the Mafia man. That said, we’re loving the hook already, and have no doubt that this will be yet another epic production from the super producer. We’re digging for more information, but in the meantime, check out the video above and let us know what you think.
Update: Reader Angela let us know that Axwell has been doing Carlsberg ads for a few years now, but this track is still brand new!
