Disco Fries have taken “Silhouettes,” one of Avicii’s most euphoric tracks and turned it on its head. Their remix maintains Salem al Fakir’s dulcet vocals and aspects of Avicii’s signature progressive sounds but have warped the drop into something entirely different. It’s often hard to separate feelings about the original when passing judgement on a remix but we think it’s worth the effort here. Although “Silhouettes” will always be one of our favorite tracks, the Disco Fries remix is admittedly more party ready. In fact, we like it more and more with each play.
