Jay-Z’s ‘Made In America Festival’ to host Skrillex, Afrojack in Philadelphia

Jay-Z announced his plans for the “Budweiser Made In America Festival” last week in Philadelphia, and phase one of the lineup has been revealed — and it’s quite impressive. Along with Jay, Skrillex, Miike Snow, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, and Passion Pit have been confirmed, along with Pearl Jam and a variety of other artists.

The festival will take place along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Saturday September 1st and Sunday September 2nd, and “an undetermined chunk of money” will benefit the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. ABC News reports that tickets are set to go on sale tomorrow, May 23rd, but the countdown on the event’s website indicates that they could be on sale at 10AM instead. Jay-Z and Skrillex at the same festival for $99? Sounds like a decent alternative to Electric Zoo.
