It’s hard to keep your feet from boogying whenever Nu-disco hits the ears. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Gigamesh has been illuminating the genre through his remixes with 80s synth lines and classic disco components, most notably with his remix of “Pumped Up Kicks” in 2011. Commissioned by Punks Jump Up to collaboratively push the Nu-disco sound, Gigamesh throws a quicker-paced synth onto “Mister Overtime” that seems perfect to accompany some summer driving.
