Sander van Doorn feat. Mayaeni – Nothing Inside
A few weeks ago Sander van Doorn released the too-short preview for his new single, “Nothing Inside,” which left us desperately yearning for more. Our craving was satisfied only a few short days later at Ultra when Sander opened with the massive tune including a live rendition of Mayaeni’s vocals. The combination of Sander’s beats with Mayaeni’s voice make for an emotionally evocative track perfect for summer festivals and driving with the windows down. When we first heard the song back in January we had no idea what it was and wondered if we’d ever find out. We’re thanking our lucky stars we did, because we don’t think our iTunes library would have been complete without it. Is this release on your must-have list as well?

how come this doesnt have “anthem status”?

I don’t think DA has the confidence to boast the “anthem status” sticker anymore. I mean, The Veldt and Language both slipped by without being labeled anthems, even though they are just a couple of the defining club tracks of the entire year (and maybe even years before).
