Steve Aoki is back with his newest release since Wonderland and this time he is teaming up with fellow Dim Mak producer, Angger Dimas. The track is plain; with vocals from Iggy Azalea (who sounds a lot like Nicki Minaj) and a drop that sounds like sirens, it definitely won’t be replacing “Turbulence” or “No Beef” anytime soon. When Aoki joins forces with other producers he usually brings he fun energy, but we don’t really see that with “Beatdown” – we see more of a hip-hop track. What are your thoughts on Aoki’s newest release?
