Qulinez return to remix duties to shake up another song using whiny synths and progressive house, remaining impressively consistent following the likes of “Silent Shadows” and “A Heavy Abacus.” This time, remixing The Ting Tings “Hit Me Down Sonny,” Qulinez uses pungent chords with acid-house influence, keeping the first half of the track strictly simple before introducing those synths we first fell in love with on “Troll.” The Ting Tings’ impuslive and fun vocal mesh with Qulinez’s progression for another witty remix from the young Size Records duo. The remix of “Hit Me Down Sonny” from Alexander and Johannes is now available overseas on iTunes.
