Will.I.Am debuts Eva Simons and Steve Angello-supported ‘This Is Love’ on UK radio station (updated)

Will.I.Am is no stranger to teaming up with EDM artists (David Guetta, anyone?), but Steve Angello is a new one for us. Will was recently a guest on Capital FM radio in the UK, where he spilled the beans on a track called “This Is Love,” co-produced by the Swedish House Mafia member with additional vocals by Eva Simons. There’s a bit of hubbub in the studio when Will reveals that he just finished the track on his laptop beforehand, but thankfully for all of us, the show’s hosts pressure him into playing it on the show live — despite the fact that his record label hadn’t even heard it yet. Thanks to the Internet, you can listen to it below.

The track is based around a powerful piano melody and some fairly uplifting vocals before getting down to business and even incorporating some Alesso-style escalating horn sounds. We don’t know much else about the track, but we can tell you that as of now it’s destined for Will’s forthcoming album, Willpower. It might also be included on Eva’s album, but that one’s still up in the air. The video for the track is reportedly set for a May 17th debut. Stay tuned for more.

(Editor’s Note: We know the SoundCloud preview above says Swedish House Mafia, but Will mentions Steve by name.)

Update: Twitter user @a_saver astutely pointed out that Steve remixed Cheryl Cole and Will’s track “3 Words” a little while back — but that’s still a far cry from producing something “together.”

Update 2: Steve let us know that he and Sebastian Ingrosso “produced the record and wrote the music,” but noted that it’s “just a production” and won’t be an SHM or Steve Angello feature release — sort of like that Usher track, “Euphoria.”
