Wynn Las Vegas partners with Ultra Records for compilations, video, and more

The Wynn is responsible for bringing a lot of DJ talent to Las Vegas, so it seems like a natural progression that they would begin pumping out content as well. Encore Beach Club, Surrender, Tryst, and XS are teaming up with Ultra Records to release compilation albums, video, and audio content from the Wynn properties. Sidney Samson has mixed the first compilation to be released in “early June,” and the second has already been promised for September 1. Things like “Weekly Nightlife Reports” will also become part of Ultra’s YouTube page.
Patrick Moxey, Ultra’s founder and president, has declared the Wynn “the center of dance music in America,” and Wynn programming director Jonathan Shecter adds that it will “give us tremendous reach.” It’s no secret that we are big fans of the various Wynn properties, and the fact that we’ll be able to enjoy their parties from the comfort of our own homes just makes the proposition that much more enticing.

center of dance music till tryst kicked calvin harris off the decks for not being mainstream enough haha
lame. vegas is going to make this EDM bubble burst a lot quicker than it should. it’s overpaying DJ fees so much (Marquee + Wynn clubs) and are making these DJs think they’re worth a lot more than they are to essentially push a few buttons.
this is affecting clubs and abilities to book DJs everywhere else. it’s why insomniac came out and said they are no longer interested in booking superstar DJs.
i’ll stick to going to space every weekend and seeing the residents + world class tech/tribal DJs and partying the right way until late mornings rather than spending 100x more to see afrojack in vegas.
@ Kyle agreed also happened at Marquee they kicked Mark Farina off the decks to!!
guys no EDC coverage??????
