The last time we wrote about Madonna on Dancing Astronaut, she was crashing Ultra Music Festival to introduce Avicii and stir up all kinds of drama. Well, we’re back with some more interesting Madonna news — but this time it involves a different Swedish DJ. Alesso has just revealed on Twitter and Facebook that he will be supporting Madonna’s MDNA tour this summer. He will be at six of the stops, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Oslo, and three stops in the UK. Alesso is the second big dance name on Madonna’s tour, which has been supported by Frenchman Martin Solveig so far. The move is a definite sign of the times, and this is clearly Madge’s latest attempt to tap into the younger demographic by latching onto the dance music scene.

Update: Alesso has taken to Facebook to address the cricitism head on, writing that “I’m a dj and I’m gonna be djn at arenas before other artists THATS IT.”
