Back in May, Jay-Z announced his “Budweiser Made In America Festival” for Philadelphia with a lineup that included Skrillex, Afrojack, and Calvin Harris along with Pearl Jam and the rap-legend himself. The joining of forces of icons across all genres made a statement for dance music, and that has statement has grown stronger after the lineup’s second phase was revealed today.
Aside from uniting kings of rock, RUN DMC, some of our own favorite DJs will be joining the greats on stage. Alesso, Nicky Romero, Otto Knows, Michael Woods, Burns, and Savoy will all perform at Jay-Z’s festival that is set to take place along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway on September 1st and September 2nd. “Made In America” will rival Electric Zoo this Labor Day now that it boasts an all-star cast, leaving the east coast with not one, but two solid options for the last weekend of the summer.
