Avicii releases podcast #006B, keeps fans waiting for more
When Avicii first announced the Le7els podcast, it was supposed to be a monthly occurrence featuring commentary from Tim and Ash. Fast-forward over eighteen months since the first installment hit iTunes, and we’re only on #7, er, #6B. The mix lacks commentary because Avicii he “hasn’t had time to sit down with Ash” , but features some great tracks like Spenca’s “Superstition” featuring Stevie Wonder and “April” by Syn Cole. Although we would say that “Dreaming Wide Awake” is a great addition, it was it was featured in podcast #005, making this second coming that much less impressive.
We wish Avicii would produce these podcasts in a more timely manner because including some of the lesser known tracks into his sets could make for a much more refreshing experience. After all, Tiesto manages to pump out a full two hour mix every week. Still, check out the tracklist for yourself below and subscribe on iTunes for the latest.

kind of disappointed to be honest.
Avicii probably does this himself while Tiesto probably has a staff doing his podcast for him
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if tiesto had staff sifting through his inbox for the latest demos and mashups from unknowns and up and comers, but the difference is that Tiesto still manages to put in commentary for the entire two hours.

This is my first comment on DA, and I never comment on any blogs, but something needs to be said. @twitter-145796884:disqus , why is this disappointing? I’m the first one to hate on Avicii, but this mix is actually worth checking out. Unlike (almost) every other big name DJ’s mixtape out there, there’s NEW/uncommon material on here. If you want a Beatport top 10 mix, you can get that elsewhere. The first 5 tracks are all solid tracks I guarantee 90% of you DON’T have in your iTunes library. Now, if you want to write negative comments on a post, do it where it’s deserved, there’s plenty of poor posts on here that deserve negative replies.
PS. Avicii didn’t sell out, he still has some great stuff. (Just replying in advance of all the Avicii haters)

he still makes good music, yes. But hes not doing it for fun anymore hes doing it for money. He sucks ass live.
The reason these high school kids are disappointed is because they want a mix full of SHM Ingrosso Alesso Hardwell etc. the first 6 tracks mean nothing to them. This is infact a really good mix for a change.
