Pacha NYC has been teasing an upcoming event with the hashtag #September22NYC on Twitter for the past few days, releasing clues for an upcoming event through Instagram and collecting them at September22NYC.com. What seems pretty obvious from the Instagram account associated with the campaign is that Size Matters is involved, but we’re here to break things down for you.
We have been able to independently confirm that Steve Angello will indeed be participating in the festivities on the 22nd, which makes sense considering his Tweet with the aforementioned hashtag earlier in the week.

The final clue posted on the event’s teaser site depicts a Size logo superimposed on a photo of New York’s Central Park, leading us to believe that the event will be going down in a whole new location for Pacha. A little digging reveals that the event will likely take place at the SummerStage at Rumsey Playfield, on 69th Street and 5th Avenue. We’ve heard mixed things about supporting talent, but it’s safe to assume that an assortment of Size artists will be on the bill.
We have also received a number of tips that Eric Prydz would be returning to New York after his show at Beekman Beer Garden was cut short this weekend, but at this time we are unable to confirm said rumors.
Stay tuned for more information. We expect an official announcement this week or next.
Update: (July 31) We’ve got a teaser video that asks “Are you ready to close out your summer with us?” and promises an announcement for tomorrow. Our sources say it should come around 4PM.
