The BPM Festival returns to Playa del Carmen, January 4-13, 2013
For the sixth year, the BPM Festival returns to the beaches of Playa del Carmen, Mexico for 10 days of non-stop festivities. One can enjoy music by day on the beach and by night at multiple nighttime destinations. The party doesn’t stop there though – last year Steve Lawler spun a jungle party — in the actual jungle –and others saw intimate DJ experiences inside the caves of the Mayan ruins.
DJ Mag describes it as a “blissful setting of a white sandy beach surrounded by lush, tropical plantations, allowing easier integration into the influx of what’s essentially an A-to-Z of who’s who in house music today.” The festival’s past lineups have included world class talent such as Dubfire, John Digweed, Laidback Luke, Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler, Steve Angello and many more.
