Ashley Pope and Tomek Naden are the two producers behind NAPT, an award winning duo out of London, England. Since 2003 these two have been producing uniquely refreshing dance music from house to breakbeats to electro-pop everything they’ve touched has turned to gold. With their Tom Tom EP recently released on Fool’s Gold records and the title track supported by A-Trak on his Fool’s Gold Radio May Mix these two Brits are finally making their mark on American soil.
Their latest remix, a re-imagining of Udachi’s “Put Down De Gun” builds slowly into a groovy, funk-filled charmer with aggressive percussion, a driving bass line and squeaky synthwork. Released today via AC Slater’s Party Like Us Records this track is a must grab for any funk fiend.
