Creamfields UK shut down due to flooding

According to the BBC’s Twitter feed, the Creamfields festival near Warrington has been “effectively cancelled because of heavy rain and flooding.” Yesterday we noticed an uptick in Tweets from DJs playing the event mentioning heavy rains, but it seems that things got bad enough that the event had to be fully canned today. It reminds us of the windstorm which shut down EDC Vegas earlier this summer — just a whole lot more wet.
