  1. Justin says:

  2. Virgo says:

hey guys, is there a problem with the website? or is it just my browser?
i can’t see any of the images in each post

  3. Jgrushack says:

We’ve been having some site issues, sorry for the inconvenience we should be bug free soon!

  4. Zapagap says:

Thank god he’s finally releasing October! Also holy shit Imogen Heap? This album sounds like a proper return to form

  5. Anti Commercialism?

Well, then you shouldn’t team up with Neff. Jesus, such a hypocrite.

    I’m done with the Mau5.

  6. Neil Dezarn says:

your taste for his music shouldn’t be dictated by his personal preferences, when I bought his albums I wasn’t voting; joel can believe whatever he wants to believe, all I know is he can make some damn good edm tracks, and that should be enough in this industry.

  7. James says:

Its real easy actually. As long as you only listen to Joel’s music, and ignore his magazine articles, blog postings, twitter/fb, and the live feeds from his studio going on pointless marketing rants, you should be good to go. His mouth really holds him back from taking the next big step in the music industry. Where does Joel get the balls to call Swedish House Mafia out in the biggest music magazine in the world, then a couple weeks later he tweets Steve Angello to come ride wave runners with him in Toronto? It doesnt work like that Joel. So much drama with this kid lately, Lindsey Gayle must have really mind f’d him.

  8. Marc says:

Him and Steve Angello are friends. Even after all the stuff that happened. He never pointed or called out SHM. And if people weren’t so easy to jump the gun, they would understand that he was referring to some people. People like Joel needs to exist in this industry. And fellow producers were happy to see somebody say something.

  9. he tells the truth, whats wrong with that?

  10. Sam says:

    Awesome! But… No Bleed?! Sadface.

  11. I cant fucking wait for its release.

  12. Zapagap says:

Personally I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that but it seems like other people aren’t able to look past that

  13. James says:

I never said Joel shouldnt exist in the industry, it goes without saying he is one of the best electronic music producers in the world. Joel has referenced pissing off the SHM camp a couple times in the past month. I can gaurantee they arent one of the fellow producers that were happy with the rolling stone article.

@facebook-734107685:disqus anyone who is remotely familiar with EDM knows that it takes a lot more than just button pushing to be a world class DJ. That rolling stone article was Joel’s version of the truth.

My main beef with Joel is that this entire culture is about being positive, and its safe to say Joel has more negative things to say about it than positive.

  14. I completely agree with you. But still, when he blurs out pure bullshit like that I can’t help but to get tired. He’s acting like he’s a messiah of button pushing. He’s better than everyone else because he doesn’t sell out. Oh, and he’s pushing more buttons than anyone else. He’s perfect. According to himself at least.

Don’t get me wrong, I like his music. What I’m trying to say is that he should focus more on producing instead of accusing people of doing something that he does himself. PIsses me off.

  15. Octose says:

Hit and Miss for me. I’m waiting for a full on album that incorporates beautiful tracks like HR 8938 Cephei – so far this album doesn’t seem to “Eye opening” for me. Really wish Joel went back to his basics creating albums like “It Sounds Like” and “Random Album Title” – with tracks that were beautifully produced, that you just felt totally immersed into. But I am excited for October, Closer and waiting to hear the Imogen Heap track.

  16. Brandon says:

you are hilarious and such a hypocrite.

  17. Frowzy says:

passed* and you also forgot your period. Anyways, people can’t look passed it because they’re stupid. /endofdiscussion

  18. Bryan says:

Dude, in one of Joel’s recent interviews he admitted to pretty Mich selling out to dubstep. Also, when he said that all DJs do is press the play button, he meant himself as well. He did not mention once that his thought he was better than anyone. Although his personality sort of comes off as that.

  19. Jj Coronet says:
