Three-time grammy winner Stuart Price — who goes under the DJ moniker Jacques Lu Cont — presents his rendition of Coldplay’s “Charlie Brown” as a free download. The track starts off with drums and spouts of vocals that lead us into a Deadmau5-esque break down, followed by a grungy electro chord pattern. The combination of these elements along with its graceful melodies and infectious rhythm make this track one of his finest works in recent time.
Having produced scores of music under the ‘Les Rythmes Digitales’ and ‘Thin White Dukes’ aliases, Lu Cont is a true pioneer of the dance music movement and is largely responsible for the influences of people like Daft Punk and Justice.
