Released back in 2001, “Clint Eastwood” was the first single from the virtual band Gorillaz, fronted by Damon Albarn of Blur. 11 years later, Pierce takes the original’s wonky combination of dub, hip hop, rock and electronic and smashes it together with Jordy Dazz’s “OMG” along with some KOAN Sound and Kill the Noise cuts. By borrowing the original’s light-hearted vocals and masterfully combining it with the energy and face melting productions of Jordy Dazz, KOAN Sound and Kill The Noise, Pierce has created an edit perfect for any heavy electro set.
