Richie Hawtin and Loco Dice announce fifteen city North American tour
Electronic music kingpins Richie Hawtin and Loco Dice are embarking on a fifteen city US and Canada tour that plans to spread the message of dance music across numerous music venues and college campuses alike. The tour, called CNTRL: Beyond EDM, combines the educational side of college lectures with an evening of electronic music by Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, and their touring guest DJs.
The tour centers around techno and the technology aspect of modern-day electronic music, presenting the more underground side of the genre, as advocated by Hawtin and Dice over the years. The daytime seminars will take place around 5pm-7pm on the day of each show at colleges close to the music venues and will discuss technology, music production, live performance, and the business of electronic music.
