Remember way back in January when Simon Cowell announced that he was working on an “X Factor for DJs“? Yeah, we almost forgot too — but that doesn’t matter any more, since the New York Post reports that the project has been killed. Apparently the show was to be a joint venture between Cowell’s Syco production company and Will and Jada Smith’s Overbrook entertainment, but the two were unable to come to an agreement and have “decided not to proceed together on a DJ-competition show.” While it’s obviously incredibly unfortunate that the show has been canned, we still have hopes for something like The Real World: DJ edition. Would you watch?
